# ezremote > ezremote lets an AI agent use a person's computer after that person approves the connection on the computer. Agents connect to the remote MCP server at https://tunnel.masti.lol/mcp with OAuth sign-in, or use REST, the JavaScript SDK or Pi. If a person asks you to connect their computer, read the [agent skill](https://tunnel.masti.lol/skill.md) and follow it. The person approves on their computer and chooses what you can use: Files, Terminal, Browser and MCP servers. Temporary connections need no account and end within 24 hours. With signed-in MCP, call `connect_computer`, give the person only its `setupUrl`, and wait for local approval before calling `devices`. Sign-in alone gives no computer access. ## Agent instructions - [Agent skill](https://tunnel.masti.lol/skill.md): setup steps, tools and stopping conditions - [Connection options](https://tunnel.masti.lol/agent.json): MCP address, OAuth support and whether temporary requests are open ## Start here - [Connect a computer](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/getting-started.md): Connect your computer to the AI you already use. Try it without an account, approve on the computer, and stop access whenever you want. - [Approve on your computer](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/approve-on-your-computer.md): What to check before you approve an AI on your computer: the requester name, the Files, Terminal, Browser and MCP permissions, and how to revoke. - [Troubleshooting](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/troubleshooting.md): Fix a missing tool list, a failed sign-in, a computer that never appears, or a refused permission. ## Connect an AI app - [Claude](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/claude.md): Add ezremote to Claude as a custom connector, sign in, and let Claude work on your computer after you approve it there. - [ChatGPT](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/chatgpt.md): Add ezremote to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server with OAuth sign-in, then approve the connection on your computer. - [Gemini](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/gemini.md): Use ezremote from Gemini CLI as a remote MCP server with OAuth. Custom connectors in Gemini on the web are not verified yet. - [Grok](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/grok.md): Add ezremote to Grok as a custom MCP connector, sign in, and approve the connection on your computer. - [Claude Code](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/claude-code.md): Add ezremote to Claude Code with one command, sign in, and let it work on another computer you approve. - [Codex](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/codex.md): Add ezremote to Codex as a remote MCP server, sign in with codex mcp login, and approve the computer it will use. - [Cursor](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/cursor.md): Add ezremote to Cursor's mcp.json, sign in, and approve the computer Cursor's agent will use. - [VS Code / Copilot](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/vscode-copilot.md): Add ezremote to .vscode/mcp.json, sign in, and use its tools in Copilot agent mode on a computer you approve. - [OpenCode](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/opencode.md): Add ezremote to opencode.json as a remote MCP server with OAuth, then approve the computer OpenCode will use. - [Hermes](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/hermes.md): Add ezremote to the Hermes config as a remote MCP server, sign in, and approve the computer Hermes will use. - [OpenClaw](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/openclaw.md): Register ezremote in OpenClaw with one command, sign in, and approve the computer OpenClaw will use. - [Pi](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/pi.md): Run the ezremote extension in the Pi coding agent so its read, write, edit and bash tools run on a computer you approve. - [Other MCP clients](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/generic-mcp.md): Connect any MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers and OAuth to ezremote at its /mcp address. ## Reference - [Connect an agent](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/clients.md): Connect an agent to ezremote through MCP, REST, the JavaScript SDK or Pi, with OAuth sign-in or a scoped agent token. - [Use the tools](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/operations.md): Reference for agents: read and edit files, run Terminal sessions, transfer large files, use the browser and local MCP servers, and handle offline computers. - [Temporary connection API](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/guest-connections.md): Request a temporary connection without an account: create the request, wait for approval on the computer, then activate the agent token. - [Reuse browser logins](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/browser-sessions.md): Copy browser logins into a separate profile on your computer so an approved agent can use sites you're signed in to. - [Security and access](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/security.md): What you approve, how long access lasts, what the ezremote service can see, and how to stop an AI from using your computer. ## Optional - [Report skill feedback](https://tunnel.masti.lol/docs/skill-feedback.md): How an agent reports a problem with the ezremote skill or its instructions. - [All guides in one file](https://tunnel.masti.lol/llms-full.txt) - [MCP server card](https://tunnel.masti.lol/mcp/server-card): pre-connection metadata for MCP clients
